Justice & Honesty
Justice & Honesty

You cannot be justified by the world. You cannot be justified externally or seen to be justified by others.

True justification comes from within. It is only you who can justify yourself, to yourself. It is only you who truly knows what you have done, thought and intended. It is only you who can rest in peace and harmony within knowing that you did the right thing for yourself and others.

Others cannot have the capacity to judge you for they do not know the internal workings of you . Nor have they seen the unseen acts of mercy and righteousness you have actioned.

Only you can give to yourself true justification. It is worth more than any external validation.

Your being returns to harmony and peace, generating wholeness and balance. Your mind rests and sleep is permitted. You know within yourself that no one can ever pass punishment or judgement upon you when you believe and know your truth. After your true and balanced thought, action and intention, and when you can look directly into the face of your truth, take refuge in that knowing.  Be your own judge and judge yourself in fairness and truth. It is one of the the greatest internal rewards and connections you will ever know.

In the tarot, Justice is honesty. It is honesty within that restores harmony and balance to oneself, meaning that all of our bodily chemical reactions and all of our external reactions come into balance and harmony. It is the scales in the illustration of the tarot that represent the restoration to balance (think balance within ones nervous system as well).

In the Rider Waite tarot, the woman is not blindfolded. She chooses to see things within herself clearly, not shying away from her own truth. The sword she holds cuts away old limiting beliefs and asserts the action that is necessary to cut away the imbalance.

The justice woman knows her mind and judges herself with truth and honesty. She is not passive because she sits with her right foot forward showing her readiness to move forward in action and to rectify. She understands the true meaning of love and value, particularly to herself and acts accordingly.

Hold your own, in your own truth and honesty.
